Make your spring break travel easier this year by packing along some fun accessories that the whole family can enjoy. Traveling with children can be difficult, especially when you’re dealing with motion sickness, crankiness, and boredom. You can prepare yourself or these problems by having solutions ready ahead of time. You’ll be able to stop tantrums and tears and have a more relaxed, enjoyable vacation. Here is my list of five unique, must-haves for your spring trip.
1. Parking Pal
The Parking Pal is designed to be placed on the side of your vehicle, where it will remain safely attached at all times. It was specifically created with bright colors, playful illustrations, and a small palm children love to place their hands on. After a couple learning sessions, your child will discover that the Parking Pal is their safe spot, and they will know where to go the second they are outside the car. It also helps teach them that parking lots are no place to play.
PullyPalz are the first ever baby toys that actually help babies retrieve their own pacifiers! They’re interactive and entertaining to keep baby distracted and helpful for parents who no longer have to play the “pacifier game.” The innovative and developmentally beneficial toy teaches right/left brain coordination, cause and effect and hand-eye coordination. It keeps pacifiers in view and in reach to keep them clean. PullyPalz hold most pacifiers and attach to baby carriers, bouncers and more.
3. ZizzyBee Bags
ZizzyBee Bags are handy, compact, reusable, washable, and eco-friendly bags convenient for every part of your life. They help you store and organize just about anything! From diapers/wipes, make-up and sports gear, to even purse clutter these trendy bags makes organization easy and they’re see-through so you can easily find what you’re looking for.
ZizzyBee Bags are especially handy for snacks and toys for road trips and even for adults…use when traveling for toiletries and other odds and ends that need to be organized in one spot.
Reduce single-use bag waste while keeping life’s clutter cleaned up. With two eco-friendly bag sizes to choose from, ZizzyBee Bags are a perfect fit for storage and travel needs.
4. Psi Bands
Psi Bands (pronounced “Sigh Bands”) are drug-free wrist bands for the relief of nausea due to motion sickness/travel, morning sickness, chemotherapy, and anesthesia. With Psi Bands, those who suffer from the VERY common, yet debilitating condition of nausea can feel better — in style and comfort! Psi Bands are being praised for their unique combination of features and benefits. They are drug-free, adjustable–around the wrist like a watch AND at the acupressure point, comfortable, waterproof, reusable, affordable, and, of course, fashionable.
Scientific studies support the use of wrist acupressure for the relief of nausea. Wrist acupressure has grown in popularity because it is noninvasive, easy to self-administer, and affordable. Wearing is believing. Breathe a Psi of relief.
5. Baby Elephant Ears
Baby Elephant Ears is a multi-use baby headrest providing spinal/neck alignment and comfort for babies — and they’re designed to look like adorable elephant ears! Baby Elephant Ears go wherever baby goes — stroller, swing, carseat, changing table, etc. The headrests are fully washable and require no attachments, straps or special skills and they’re offered in diverse prints and organics. The superior design and durability of these headrests make them the perfect gift for parents! Baby Elephant Ears works by giving baby superior head/neck support and encouraging healthy, strong posture development.
6. Woombie Eco-Donut
The Eco-Donut is the perfect travel accessory for families with a baby. The Donut is a cozy, plush, multi-use mat that can be used for several purposes. It’s a great spot to lay baby down for diaper changes and play time. It folds up conveniently for traveling and the sides zipper up to create a bonus carry bag. Of course, it’s eco-friendly.
Written by Julie Tabor Thompson, Founder & President of Bounce Innovations, Inventor of PullyPalz
As a mother of two, Julie found she was continuously retrieving dropped pacifiers, because even though they spit them out, they still want them immediately! She called it “the pacifier game,” and, at times, it was difficult to play. One day, she thought, ‘I wish somebody would invent a …’ A what? What could make it so babies can keep up with their pacifiers? Clips help parents keep up with pacifiers, but they don’t help the baby. Babies don’t understand when it’s behind their shoulder or around their side. As they say, out of sight, out of mind. She started by making the first prototype in her kitchen (which included melting molding plastic, an instruction manual for her sewing machine, and YouTube videos). Several designs later, the PullyPalz were born… The first ever pacifier toy that – with the help of baby’s interaction – keeps pacis coming back!
Her goal is to offer unique products that make life and parenthood just a little easier, and ultimately more enjoyable. Compatible products (teethers and toys) will be coming to market soon. Julie also offers product development and consultation services for other aspiring entrepreneurs.
